Since our beginnings as Andrew Peterkin Truck & Backhoe Hire in 1996, our business has grown steadily and evolved with the needs of our clients. In 2000, we became A & F Peterkin Earthmoving Pty Ltd, and today we proudly operate as AFP Civil—a trusted provider of earthmoving and civil construction services across Ballarat and regional Victoria.
Over nearly three decades, our journey has been shaped by technical capability, reliability, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality outcomes. What started with truck and backhoe hire has expanded into a comprehensive suite of civil services. Our expertise now covers everything from small-scale block clearing to complex civil works, including: subdivisions, pump stations, retention basins, pipeline construction and maintenance. More recently, we have broadened our operations to include environmental mulching and gorse control.
